Seventh most religious state in the nation

Can I just mention again how extremely lucky we are to have wonderful friends and family?  When 76% of the people in this state think religion is an important part of their life, it seems nearly impossible that it doesn't effect our lives on a daily basis.  We never purposely avoid anything, it just simply does not come up.   Still, Vermont might be a good place to consider if we have to move.  I wonder what their homeschooling laws look like?

  1. Ooh, not just Vermont, but nearly anywhere in New England is tolerable. I grew up in NH and lived in MA for many years and never felt out of place not being religious. As for homeschooling, I'm pretty sure there's more oversight than in many states but of course someone experienced like you would have no problem cutting through the red tape. :)

  2. Awww, shucks! Thank you.

New Hampshire has been on the list for a while. You never know!

  3. I've had my eye on New England, particularly Maine, for a few years now. Gotta get DH talked into it, however. He's always lived in UT, and he's not what I'd call adventurous in this particular area.
