Breastfeeding in Canada by PhDinParenting!

Over at Change.org, they are doing a series of interviews with women who breastfeed all over the world.  I wanted to contribute, but they weren't looking for moms in the U.S.  However, I am thrilled to see Annie from PhDinParenting representing Canada!  I agree with absolutely everything Annie has ever written on the topic of nursing.

I nursed all three of my children.  Well, I shouldn't even say nursed.  I am still nursing Funny Girl at three and a half,  and Dimples will be two in July.  Robotson self-weaned at two and a half.  Nothing in the world compares to that connectedness you feel while nursing, and I'm not ashamed to admit that at each doctors visit I did a little dance as they were weighed and measured.  I always thought to myself, "I did that!"

So way to go Annie!  Canada is lucky to have you!

  2. I actually got so many requests from Americans to participate, that I started a blog just for breastfeeding experiences that includes the US: http://thebreastsfeedingexperience.blogspot.com

I'd love to have your story!

  4. I never did feel that connectedness through nursing. You're very lucky!
