I forgot to update last week, but I just wanted to mention that getting at up 7am is much easier. However, I've lost quite a bit of my alone time because the girls are getting up at 8am. To give me some more time, B will let them watch t.v., but I really don't like that as a start to our day. I also started walking in the mornings, but that takes up my hour, leaving me no time to read. So, it's not a perfect solution. I'm still not completely decided if this is the way I want to go, but I'm keeping it up for another few weeks.

  1. How about listening to books on your IPOD while walking? Not exactly the same as curling up alone in the wee hours of the morning with a good book but it does kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

7 sounds soooooo much better than 5 (I still think that was nuts! LOL!)

  2. Yeah, but is 5am any more nuts than staying up until 3am? I think both are a little "out there" just to get some alone time, but I feel like I really need it. I am a true introvert.

I do take my iPod, but I've got several hour long podcasts that I can't give up. One thing I need to remember is that as the kids get older, I'll have more time for reading. Right now I have to spend much of my day with potty training or diapers or naps or food preparation.
