I'm sort of stuck on manners posts right now. Part of it is that while we (parents and kids) are getting much better at being polite and mannerly, much of what I've already posted about is still a work in progress. It's pretty hard to work on table manners when we rarely eat together, for example. Since manners don't really change over time, it's not like there are endless topics to talk about either. It's something I still think about a lot and want to talk about as things come up, but there are some weeks when nothing interesting comes to me. Maybe I'll just throw out a generic tip or something, maybe just a neat quotation I find. I'm not sure yet. I've subscribed to a few manners blogs to see what they talk about. Maybe that will help.
For now, I'll leave you with this little quotation.
"Whoever one is, and wherever one is, one is always in the wrong if one is rude."
